Sunday funnies

Sunday has always been the day for comics. Today was no different.

We'll start with a quick recap of the cleaning we did today. Daddy and the kids tackled vacuuming while I tackled sorting through the stuff piled up on our buffet. Not an important part if the day, until...

Zach cannot handle electronics. He is obsessed. It's all good when we let him have them, but so not good when time is up. Today he was playing with daddy's phone when's till it died. Daddy explained to him that the battery was dead. Zach, through his tears, goes over to where I piled our immense collection of batteries after cleaning earlier (seriously, we hoard batteries I've discovered), and brought daddy a whole package of them. So sweet and funny while sad too. Poor guy.

Today also led to the discovery of this:

I finally bought one on my last trip to Target. Zach and Addie discovered it and were sitting on it, backwards, on the floor. I showed them it goes on the toilet for them to sit on. The girls wanted NOTHING to do with that. Zach was game. He'd climb up and sit there. Like this.

Disregard my pants less kids and Katie investigating her excema. While it looks like pedicures while pooping, it's actually Addie playing dr and using the tweezers on his toes, lol. We've taught them the tweezers remove imaginary owies, haha. For the next 30+ minutes Zach would run to the bathroom, climb up, sit for a few minutes, then run out, tell you he pooped (he didn't) and high five. Who would have ever thought Zach would show the first interest?!??

To end the night I had many mini heart attacks watching the Hawks head to the Super Bowl. I may have even surprised John a bit with my dedication this season.

Hope your Sunday had some fun too.

Some fun

Do the girls get along?

Sure? They were even hugging yesterday. Even though it looks like the middle of a cat fight.

Later, when Addie got put in time out to regroup, Katie brought her her doll, Sally, and one of the bubble guppies figures. And let me tell you, Katie does not relinquish a bubble guppy figure for anything!

John brought home donettes earlier in the week. He told the kids about them. But yet, he didn't want to give any to the kids. He leaves the sugar duties to me. So, after a few days I relented. Can you tell?

Today, I was helping Katie with something. I can't even remember what, but when we were done there were no other kids in sight. I was truly a little perplexed until I started hearing whispers in the bathroom. These two will be the cause of my going completely grey for sure.

They had stolen mommy's juice from the windowsill and were quietly trying it out. Oy!
